The Binder Shop produces 3-ring vinyl binders in a number of sizes along with pad folios and pocket notebooks
At the Clothing Shop located in two institutions, fabric is cut from rolls and sewn to create garments used in a number of locations throughout the Commonwealth. Apparel and other items are crafted for the public, state employee and inmate population. Among the quality garb available to the public and state employees, staff, officers and officials, are jackets, hats and sweatshirts. MassCor's stylish, custom-made jackets feature materials of nylon, spandex and fleece. The clothing includes performance hooded and shell jackets printed with DOC, MDAR and other embroidered agency logo patches. In addition to the apparel produced are flat and fitted bed sheets, pillowcases, towels, T-shirts, boxer shorts, tube socks, blue jeans and outerwear.
The Embroidery shop offers endless embroidery patches for caps, jackets, T-shirts and more.
MassCor's Engraving Shop teaches offenders how to program the engraving software and operate the desktop engraving machine in order to produce a variety of engraved door, counter, wall and desk signs in various sizes and colors.
The Furniture Assembly Shop provides a wide array of modular, semi-finished furniture, and specialized furniture for all of your office needs.
This operation currently manufactures United States, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, POW/MIA, and customized flags, as well as laundry bags, and engraved items.

MassCor's wood furnishings are made of hardwood, without relying on chipboard or fiberboard. Desks, credenzas, bookcases and settees are among its myriad products. Our mattress shop produces a variety of mattresses used in a number of environments. Included are value grade cotton and vinyl mattresses suitable for hospitals, colleges, homeless shelters and other settings. In addition, the shop manufactures cotton-filled and Dacron-polyester pillows.
The Metal operation is able to supply custom fabricated metal cell furniture at substantial savings to the taxpayers. It is also a source of stylized creations such as hand-crafted decorative fire pits, log racks, park benches and picnic tables manufactured from cold rolled steel. Powder-coated services can be provided which allows long-term protection against rust and corrosion. The metal shop also produces utilitarian products including grills, recycling bins, wastebaskets and corrugated trash barrels.
The Optical Laboratory at the NCCI Gardner institution produced over 400,000 pair of prescription eyeglasses each year. Its customer base includes MassHealth, the Department of Correction, Connecticut DOC, the House of Correction and the Massachusetts Correctional Officers Federated Union.
MCI Cedar Junction is home to the License Plate Shop, where offenders produce the license plate requests from the Registry of Motor Vehicles for automobiles, motorcycles, atv etc.
